CONCERT: Gospel Music
A free, family-friendly concert will be presented at the ROC stage at St. Louis Park Rec Center. This exciting concert will feature some of the best in local gospel talent. In addition to the One Nation Workshop Choir and Twin Cities Community Gospel Choir, the concert will feature The Hurst Family Experience, Patty Lacy, The Minnesota State Baptist Convention Choir and James Grear & Company. Special guest Gary Hine will lead the entire audience in one son. No reservations are needed; free will donations will be accepted.
This project is funded in part by a St. Louis Park Arts & Culture grant. An entertaining and educational afternoon workshop on African American music will be facilitated by Grammy Award-winning musician/producer/clinician Gary Hines.
If you love to sing and wish to part of a supportive and enthusiastic ensemble, join the choir! We are open to all; no auditioning required.
We can only serve our community with your help. Donations by individuals and businesses are greatly appreciated.
We will perform an entire concert ourselves or share the stage with other artists. Let us design a performance that fits your needs and goals.
